Hospice Malta is a voluntary organisation inspired by Christian values. It provides and promotes the highest standards of Palliative care for persons with cancer, motor neuron disease, end-of-life cardiac, respiratory, renal and liver diseases. It also aims to help and support the patients’ families.
Hospice Malta provides end of life support to patients suffering from cancer, motor neuron disease, end-of-life cardiac, respiratory, renal and liver diseases.
Physical, psychological, social and spiritual support is also offered to the relatives.
A number of palliative care services including Home care, Day Therapy, Hospital support, Loan of equipment, Respite care at Home, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Complementary therapy, Psychosocial support, Spiritual support, Drives and Bereavement support, are delivered.
All of these services are provided free of charge.
