On November 30, ALFRED BALZAN of Rabat, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

Forever loved and remembered by his wife Mary, his children Amadeo, Odette and her husband Christopher, Barbara, Fleur and her partner Paul, his grandchildren Marijana and her husband Robert, James and his wife Lydia, Anthea, Kelsie and her husband Alex, Amber, Shannon, Anjelika, Kezia and Christie, his great-grandchildren Averie, Olivia, Rileigh and Miles, his brother John and his wife Pat, his sister Mary, widow of Frank, his in-laws, nephews and nieces and their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, December 3, at 9.30am, for St Mark’s church (Santu Wistin), Rabat, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
