On February 2, at Villa Messina, ANTHONY AGIUS MUSCAT of St Julian’s, aged 86, passed away peacefully after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife Vera, née Muscat Azzopardi, his children Anthide, Hugo and his wife Cecilia, Lucienne and her husband Stephen Cumbo, his grandchildren Matthew, Simon and his fiancée Rachel, Alessia, Karl and Maria, his brothers and in-laws, nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends.
