DARMANIN. On January 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANTHONY, aged 79, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his immediate family. He leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife Bertha nee’ Laferla, his son David and his wife Kirsten, his treasured granddaughters Emma and Philippa, his sisters Marina, Cora and her husband Michael Rossi, their children, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday 20 January at 1.15pm for St Gregory the Great Parish Church, Sliema where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 2.00pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar Cemetery.

Merciful Lord grant him eternal rest.

The family would like to thank his dedicated carer Gilbert who supported him in recent months.
