On December 19, CHARLES GALEA BONAVIA, widower of Helene née Aquilina, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church, surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters Francesca and Michela and her partner David, his grandson Leo, his cousins Joanna Depares, Maria and her husband Mike Rosner, his brother-in-law John and his wife Madeleine, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, December 24, for the parish church of St Mary, Attard, where mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery in the family grave.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
