On August 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, CARMEL (known as Charlo) VELLA, widower of Mary, aged 90, from Żejtun and living in Iklin, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his children Nicholas and his wife Roberta De Angelis, Simon and his wife Elaine, his grandchildren Luke, Anita and Jacopo, his brother Caesar and his wife Phyllis, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence on Tuesday, August 26 at 8.30am for St Catherine parish church, Żejtun, where mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at the San Girgor parish cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Fondazzjoni Nazareth will be appreciated.
