On November 10, ESTHER DEBONO, néeVella, aged 80, passed away peacefully at Mother Theresa Ward 1, comforted by the rites of Holy Church after over a year at St Vincent de Paul residence (SVDP).

Her children – Mark and Marisa, Brian and Annabelle, David and Natalie, her daughter Josie, and Joanne and Noel – will deeply cherish her love and care for the family.

Her grandchildren, Angelique, John Paul, Jacob, Rebekka, and Daniel, will forever treasure the memories of their nanna Esther.

The family expresses sincere gratitude to Brother Joe SJ for the loving care he provided to his dear sister through his daily visits to SVDP.

Esther is also survived by her sisters in Canada, Theresa and May, along with their families.

Relatives and many friends will miss her dearly.

Fr Vince Magri, SJ, will celebrate Mass on Monday, November 17, at 3.30pm, at the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady (Mosta Dome), followed by interment at Mosta cemetery.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
