On November 4, at Mater Dei Hospital, Fr ROBERT WIRTH, SJ, aged 86, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Mother Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his brethren in the Society of Jesus in Malta and India, his sister Suor Elena Wirth of the Sisters of Charity, his sister Jeannine Edington, widow of Ian, his brother Philip and his wife Giorgina and his sister-in-law Anne, widow of Tony, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.


The funeral will be held on Thursday , November 5 at 10.15am at the Collegiate parish church of Naxxar.

Donations to the Jesuit Infirmary for aged and sick Jesuit Fathers and Brothers will be greatly appreciated.

May he rest in the peace of the Risen Lord.
