On March 13, GERTIE GAUCI, ex-primary teacher at St Joseph School, Blata l-Bajda, aged 88, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family.

She will always be loved and cherished by her husband Joseph, her children Stephanie and her husband Joseph, Mark and his wife Daniela, her precious grandchildren Nicole and her husband Anton, Luke and his partner Sam, her beloved sister Sr Georgina, her in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Casa Antonia, Balzan, on Monday March 16, for the Basilica of Christ the King, Paola, where Mass to celebrate her life will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Casa Antonia, Balzan and Hospice Malta for all the support and care shown during this challenging time.
