On January 1, GLADYS AGIUS, née Messina, passed away after a short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband of 59 years, Maurice; 
her children, David and his wife Stefania, Simon and his wife Nicky, and Claire, wife of Raphael De Gabriele; 
her grandchildren, Edward and his partner Denise, Julia and her boyfriend Karl, Hannah and Carla;
her siblings Charles and his wife Tessie, Joe and his wife Betty, Alex and his wife Hilda, Noel Barry, widower of her sister Pauline, Rosalie, widow of her brother Mario, Martin and his wife Patrizia, and Joanna, wife of Joe Pace, her in-laws, Marie and her husband Charles Briffa, George Calleja, widower of Rita, Joseph and his wife Lina, Agnes and her husband Gennaro Camilleri and Anna and her husband Noel Muscat;
her nephews and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, January 9, at 8am, for Balzan parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
