On September 2, GULIA VELLA of Tarxien, widow of Dr Biagio Vella, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She will always be remembered by her children, Dr Antoine and his wife Dr Anna Vella, Dr Norbert and his wife Isabel Vella, Dr Audrey Marlene and her husband Paul Buttigieg, and Fr Bertrand OFM Cap, her granddaughters Maria, Dr Sarah and Therese Marie, as well as by her relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul residence on Thursday, September 4, at 8.15am for Tarxien parish church, where Mass will be celebrated at 8.45am, followed by interment at Qrendi cemetery.

The family kindly requests that, instead of flowers, donations be made to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
