On August 12, JEANNINE EDINGTON, née Wirth, widow of Ian (Eddie) Edington, passed away peacefully in Northampton, England, at the age of 96.

Jeannine leaves to mourn her passing her two daughters and two respective spouses; Karen Gibbons, widow of Ivor Gibbons, Bernadette and Les Roper, Colin Roberts, widower of her daughter Vanessa Roberts, her nine grandchildren and their five respective spouses, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Sr Elena Wirth of the Sisters of Charity, her brother Philip Wirth and her sister-in-law, Anne Wirth, widow of Tony Wirth, and brother-in-law Bill Harris, widower of Victoria Harris, sister of Ian (Eddie). She also leaves to mourn her loss her cousins, nephews and nieces and their families and her friends.

The funeral Mass in Malta will take place on Friday, September 5, at 1.30pm, at St Julian’s parish church, followed by interment in the family grave with Ian (Eddie) Edington, her late husband, at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
