A dedicated son, husband and father on the first anniversary of his death on October 23, 2025.

Mass will be said for his repose on Thursday, October 23 at Santa Marija parish church (Knisja l-Qadima) at 6pm. 

A year has passed since you set sail;
Since life grew quiet, soft and pale. 
The tide rolled in, the tide rolled out;
And left us drifting here, no doubt.

It happened fast – no last goodbye;
Just sudden calm beneath the sky.
But even in that silent space;
We still can feel your warm embrace.

We see you where the sunlight gleams;
In water’s gold and silver seams;
In every ripple wave, and crest;
Your spirit finds its place of rest.

The hum of engines, ocean air;
Each sound reminds us you are there;
The dock still rocks, the seagulls cry;
And somehow you are close nearby.

We tell your stories, laugh then pause...;
Because your life still moves through ours;
You taught us how to steer the way;
Through calm and storm, come what may.

The love you gave, it hasn’t gone;
It sails within us carrying on;
Through every dawn, through every sea;
You are part of who we’ll always be.

So though your boat’s beyond our sight;
We trust you sail in golden light;
The waves will keep your memory near.
