On August 23, JOHN ALFRED GAMBIN, widower of Joan, at the age of 81, from Sliema, peacefully went to meet the Risen Lord.

He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved son Karl and his wife Christine, his grandson Nicholas, his sisters Josette and her husband Anthony Busuttil, Isabel and her husband Patrick Cachia, Bernadette and her husband Michael Polidano, his nephews and nieces, and other family and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul on Tuesday, August 26, at 8.15am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere for the repose of his soul will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Dementia Society will be appreciated.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
