On Thursday, November 20, MARY FARRUGIA, of Żebbuġ, ex-schoolteacher, passed away peacefully after a short illness, aged 86.

She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Joseph Philip and his wife Christine, her nephews and nieces who she loved so dearly, Lucia, Pippa and Alex, Nicky, Ben and Emily, Stephanie and Pawl, Karen, Ramon and Karen, John, Wallace and Ethel, Godwin and Tanya, and Joseph, their families, many dear cousins near and far, her sisters-in-law Hilda, Kate and Josephine.

She will also be sorely missed by her dearest life-long friends Tessie, Jane and Doris, and many others to whom she was an inspiration, including Marthese and Victor Cassar who gave her love and continuous support in recent years.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 29, at 8am, at Żebbuġ parish church, followed by interment in the family grave at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Żebbuġ.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, or Dar il-Kaptan, Mtarfa, would be appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
