On January 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, MAY PORTELLI née Rizzo Bamber, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her son John, Lucy, widow of her brother Richard Rizzo Bamber, her nieces June Loporto, Suzanne and her husband Pierre Loporto, her great-nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. 

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, January 7, for the Immaculate Conception of Mary parish church, Tal-Ibraġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar Tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
