On October 19, NICHOLAS CIANTAR of Guardamangia, lately residing at Ghigo Community Residence, Għaxaq, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Rose, née Scerri, his sons Effie and his wife Marie, Noel and his wife Victoria, his grandchildren and their partners and his great-grandchild Michael, his sisters Mary Lourdes and Agnes, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, October 23, for Fatima Sanctuary, Guardamangia, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to the Salesians of Don Bosco, Sliema, will be greatly appreciated.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
