On December 30, RAPHAEL AZZOPARDI, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church and surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Rose, his children Vicky, widow of Lino Farrugia, Pio and Snezana, Nadia and Paolo Antonio, his precious grandchildren Francesca and Kevin, Matthias and Karla, his cherished great-granddaughter Maxine, his sister, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The funeral cortège leaves The Imperial, Sliema, on Monday, January 5 for the parish church of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, Tal-Ibraġ, where mass celebrating Raphael’s life will be said at 1pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery in the family grave.

No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, are greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Hospice Malta and The Imperial Care Home for their care, compassion and support throughout this challenging journey.
