On October 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSA RIZZO, née Azzopardi, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she leaves to mourn her loss her children Vincent J and Rita, Anne and Karol Farrugia, Philip, George and their respective partners, her daughter-in-law Dorothy Rizzo, her many treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her two devoted carers Connie Vesagas and Estelle Estela (JoJi).

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 10.30am, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery.

Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Medical Ward 4 for their care during her stay at Mater Dei Hospital.

Lord grant her eternal rest.
